Thursday Thoughts & Thanks | God is L O V E

{sort of a different type of blog today but nonetheless this is real life}

Praise report: My 9 year old son was healed of fever last night at church! He was anointed with oil and God healed him, praise the Lord!

Once again, the Holy Spirit moved in the service.

He never gets old. Never runs dry.

Special guests Ryan & Sara Delling from Eagles Wings Ministry lead us in worship

{though it was the Holy Spirit who truly lead}

I pray whoever reads this will know that God is so good. A True healer & more.

James 5:13-18 NLT

The Power of Prayer

13 Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. 14 Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven.

16 Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. 17 Elijah was as human as we are, and yet when he prayed earnestly that no rain would fall, none fell for three and a half years! 18 Then, when he prayed again, the sky sent down rain and the earth began to yield its crops.

On another note, I wanted to make something since tomorrow is a day that most normal people {I am not really one of them bahaha} celebrate. BUT I wanted to dedicate it to the Lord.

So remember. Love endures.

  1. Meg, it was lovely to read the praise report right at the beginning of your post and be lifted by the news of your son’s healing. Such events give hope to us all. To witness God moving mightily among us is a wonderful thing indeed! Thank you also for the way you closed and placed the emphasis for Valentines Day on God again, right where it belongs. We only know how to give and receive love because He first loved us. Blessings to you and yours. 🙂

    1. Thank you! I’m glad it touched someone 🙂
      I guess maybe I shouldn’t be so surprised when God does these things lol but it is more of a sense of “the feeling of awe and reassurance” one gets when they know God has just acted. It is beyond words! Be blessed today!
