I have been praying for months about how I can share some of my God time with readers. I see it as a way to share my joy of writing and creating, and encourage anyone who needs uplifting. I am a wife of 12 years and a mom to 3 young kiddos, so I know all too well about needing to be uplifted.
I have been blessed to follow along with a few other Christian blogger ladies who have helped impact my life. When I read God’s Word I also am moved by many of the unschooled, even fearful at times people, that He used to carry out His work.
I too want to step out of hiding and take my best efforts to glorify Him and let Him use them as He wants. I pray if you are reading this that you will prayerfully consider joining me on this new journey where I challenge myself to be more transparent and purposeful.
I am typically the play-it-safe blogger, not wanting to post anything too deep just in case…but God is calling me to write, and He didn’t say anything about editing my posts to the point they were no longer real!
I may not be the best writer, but that doesn’t matter. I am putting aside the hindrances that caused me to hold back last year. I know I didn’t have control over some of the things, like when my other laptop died, or when my husband broke both of his hands and I had to go back to work while taking care of him simultaneously, but that was then and this is now. New seasons breed new life. I want to be like a well-watered tree, and share fruit with you. Fruit of the Spirit!
It’s not just about me being in my bubble of happy, no no no. It is about getting with God and seeing the life that blooms from doing so. It’s about communing with other people whether near or far. Sharing life together and being a willing vessel. So grab a blanket, your doodle pad, Bible, whatever you need to get filled up before you step out into your day.
Feel free to join me each Wednesday for Tea & Word by linking up below.
Thank you for joining me, may God richly bless you in every way!
Ephesians 1:3-6 NLT
3 All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ. 4 Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. 5 God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. 6 So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son.
